Help with a few modifications please

Postby Craig1402 » Mon Jul 20, 2015 7:12 am

Hi all I'm the proud owner of a 2006 Renault megane and I'm new to the club (signed up about 10 mins ago lol )

I'm after help with links and advice on a few mods I want to do

Firstly I want to Lower my car on coilovers and need to advice on cheap sets unfortunately I can only find ones for around £350-£400 and that's abit out of my price range .

Secondly I'm after a set of headlight and sidelight bulbs that are very bright and give a very nice white/blue light not a yellowish tint

Any help will be very much appreciated

You could go for lowering springs instead of coilovers, only difference is that you can't adjust the height! :-)

Yeah I was thinking of lowering springs but I'm unsure on what drop to go for because I don't want it stupidly low that it scrapes on things every now and again I just want a nice clean look and half the gap there is now in the wheel arches lol

Yeah I was thinking 40mm but I'm not sure if that will to be much i think 30mm is for the best . As for the headlight wouldn't I have to remover the headlight unit to fit the hids and that involves removing the front bumper I have heard or would I be able to do it through the wheel arches ? . Thanks for the reply
