New wheels and sensors...

Did you guys change your old valve/sensors to your new wheels...or is there a problem if i dont, like will the car refuse to start etc, :cool:

you can (and should transfer) the sensors (dunno about the valves and if they're integral to the system) if you want to keep your tyre pressure monitoring.

If you don't, your car will beep at you tellin you that you have no pressure in the tyres.
Reault can disable the tyre pressure monitoring system though (check ownership problems).

I was looking at the valve stems but couldnt see any coloured rings....they just look like plain valves, do they all have the sensors fitted..?

New wheels arrived on monday, tyres and lowered springs on tuesday,..yesterday spent removing the front struts, painting the calipers and dodging the rain......today left wheels and tyres in to be fitted, fitter says that there are no sensors on my wheels..yippee, one less thing to go wrong... :) ...body kit arrived then :D ...looks sweet, but i'm gonna make a few mod's to the bumpers before i fit them, try and make them a bit different to the 225 look.. :cool: .....tomorrow if it stops raining its the rear springs..look like a piece of pich..heres hoping.. :wink:

Have in both sets of wheels ( summer and winter) and they adopt without any problem.
