Cruise control?

Postby oldbury863 » Thu Jul 22, 2010 9:18 am

I've been looking to buy a megane with cruise control. Some are decribed as having it & some not. On the assumption (?) that maybe not all dealers will correctly describe ALL of the features on a particular car, is it possible to tell from a photo of the interior if a car is fitted with cruise or not? I have noticed that some have controls actually on the steering wheel & some not, but maybe thats just the later type stereo controls? Please can somebody enlighten me?

there's a switch on the right side of the fash by the knee that activates the cruise control. it's also the speed limiter if you flick the switch the other way.
and buttons on the bottom slopes of the steering wheel with +, -, 0 and something else.

If you have no luck finding one its quite simple to retro fit as all wiring is in place despite not having the controls.

And the remote radio control can be utilised as a substitute.
