how much is your insurance for a sport?

hi im 19 and currently own the 1.9dci 130 with 2 years ncb, and im payin 70 a month for this but i wana buy a sport 225 but obvs the insurance goes up, the cheapest ive found is 250 a month!!!!!!!! but thaats only mneysupermarket, does anyone know of any insurers who are cheaper etc, or any ways around paying this much, thanks, Paul

Aviva pretty much have the insurance market tied up and yes, they're cheap but customer service isn't brilliant and I have heard that their claims handling leaves a lot to be desired.

Myself and the wife are with Aviva and *touch wood* have not had any problems but one thing to bear in mind is that their maximum no claims is 5 years which is fine when as long as you're with them but if ever you come to change it will more than likely have an effect.

Don't forget if you have a partner and put them on the policy it nearly always brings the price down.

I am 20 and have been quoted £1200 a year with elephant.
2 years NCB, 3 Points, car parked on public road.

Flux direct also give very ceap quotes but I have heard bad things
