OBD diagnostic equipment

Postby anders47160 » Tue Jan 11, 2011 9:41 am

Could we have a thread here to post successful/unsuccesful code reading and erasing of codes from Renault Megane. I have purchased a CreadeV to read diagnostic trouble codes but so far no success.

After contact with the support from Launchtech, they informed me CreaderV can not read DTC on a Renault Megane II.

What you want is a Renault 'CLIP'

Its the offical diagnostic tool. There aint any thing on the Megane it wont do.

Renault CLiP is not only a code reader, it is a diagnostic equipment. Original CLIP will also program ECU/update control unit. But it is very very expensive. The clone CLiP is affordable and it's cheap less than 70 pounds. Software will be updated frequently. Erase abs, srs, etc, access multi control modules, disable tpms so on and so forth. This is a good place to go. It is not like Ebay, it's full of installation video, manual, tech support...
