Noise coming from rear brakes when reversing.

Hey guys, noticed last night that when I reverse and apply the brake there is a very bad noise (almost like a grinding noise) coming from the rear, however when I apply the brakes going forwards they seem fine :S

Anyone have any sort of idea of what it could be or experienced the same issues before???

Hi Paul, I bought a megane cc new in 2008. I had the same thing from day one. So did my brother and his was new in 2006. I told the Renault garage every time it went in but the never solved it. It's sorted itself out now. As you say it's only when you reverse. No idea mate. Check your pads just in case.

I had this when I had my Meg, it was sorted under a recall iirc, worth checking with RUK imo.
