Discs & Pads

Hello,
I am new to the forum and I would like some any advice.
I am the owner of an 05 black 225. I have been told by my local Renault dealer that the front brake discs and pads need replacing after I complained of a noise on the initial start-up and pulling away. I received two quotes from my local Renault dealer: £495 with extreme add-on packs and £378 without extreme add-on packs. I asked what the difference was but they didn't seem sure what it was; does anyone out there know the difference?

This price seems a bit high and not guaranteed to fix the noise, and I cannot see why the discs need to be changed as the pads have not completely worn down yet. Can anyone recommend someone in the north Kent or South East London area that can have a look at my brakes and offer me some advice and a price to replace the pads or pads & discs, if required?

Try phoning the maidstone branch of renault, they seem to be cheap. My wife to be got her new clio brake disks and pads changed for £200.
