Hi guys, I’m about to purchase a 3pin reverse switch from GSF (cheapest I can find) as my current switch suffered a breakage when the engine fell as a result of an engine mount unscrewing its self.... bhut that’s a different story!
My question is, when I unscrew the existing switch from the gearbox, is it going to ditch the gearbox oil everywhere ? ? ?
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions, or will it be a straight forward unscrew and replace-
many thanks

Do it like the little Dutch boy and stick your finger in the hole then using a cloth wipe round quick swap over to put the new switch in.

There will be a good bit of oil comes out so act as quick as you can , I done my scenic reverse switch 2 weeks ago and when I took the switch out it was like taking a drain plug out , get a drip tray .

watch out the qty of the "drip" because the total oil qty is 2L.
