Fan not working set to 4

Hi I have a problem with the fan inside the car 1 2 3 work but 4 not working just switches off the fan completely has anyone had any experience of this could it be the switch or could it be something else appreciate any help or advice.

There's a video by Theodore on you tube for this specific problem.
Look up Megane heater fan not working on 4
If you watch it you might see where he finds the part you're after somewhere under the driver side dash.
Should just be a contact clean up if the other speeds are working.

I had thought it was probably on the actual switch itself I will have a look tomorrow morning
when the weather gets a bit cooler if this fixes the problem I will let you know thanks Bob for the info much appreciate

Great news sorted it was the problem that was shown on YouTube I did manage to get away without taking the glove department out I just twisted and played about with the wires pulled and pushed and got a good contact and all fan speed settings 1234 worked . knowing where the problem is is more reassuring than actually fixing it, I probably will remove and completely clean the contacts when I change the filter

Just an update I was told by Halfords in store that spraying WD-40 SPECIALIST CONTACT CLEANER directly on to the socket might solve the problem :D
