Hand brake sticking

Hi there everyone have a little problem with my handbrake slightly sticking on the nsr, I have tried numerous times to free it up with wd40 which does work for a while. It seem to be the part where the handbrake attaches to the calliper that is sticking, with the handbrake off it is sticking about 5mm away from the stop but a little push and it goes back. I know it’s not the cable as I have replaced this earlier on in the year and it moves freely.
Any ideas?
