Postby saben1969 » Sat Feb 08, 2020 3:16 pm

I have a megane dynamic convertable 2007 and yesterday a friend was useing the passenger side window which was working then for no reason at all when he again went to use it the window failed to go down,
i tried it from my driver side and found both front and back passenger window had suddenly stopped working
i have checked the fuses which are fine,
all windows were working fine and roof coming down etc, then this just happened, im not very savy when coming to car repairing, so any advice please
could it be switches, relay etc

Sounds like a fault in the window mechanism.
You'll have to dismantle the door to find out, I'm afraid. Or someone will.
I hope the window isn't stuck open?
Whatever you do, don't take it to a Renault dealer.

Just noticed that you said it affected front and back?

There are separate fuses for each front window, but the rears share a fuse. So, blowing one fuse would not affect front and back.

All three are in the mini fusebox inside the glove box,
