remote control locking

I have a 03 1.6 Megane Dynamic .The problem I have is I can only lock the car via the button on the drivers door or the boot .I have only had the car for a short while and I think when i first had it I could lock it via any door ( i can unlock it via any door ) .Can anyone help

Do you mean the buttons on the door handles?? If so I can only lock mine by the drivers one, not the passanger. But I can open it using any. Its always been like this so think its fine xx

You should be able to lock the car with any of the door handle buttons, including the boot

Sounds like you hands-free has problems, quite common

Haha, I dont know then. My car has never been able to lock using the passanger door EVER, and as far as I know our 225 can't either, so I always thought this was normal??? Sorry jindgee I dont know then

my wifes got a 3dr 03 1.9dci dynamique, can lock it on all doors inc boot.

did have a problem unlocking drivers door hands free, got handle replaced under warranty.

If hands free option is fitted then all doors have the ability to lock the car via the button in the handle.

My first Privilege had problems with the hands-free and had to have a new module fitted and a new handle. The master unit for some reason is the nearside rear door handle/switch.

Hands-free still has issues as my Phase II was just starting to play up when I sold it.
