HEEEEEEEELP URGENT HELP NEEDED AS GOING ON HOLIDAY

hi i changed my sidelights on my 2006 megane dynamique 16v and i left them turned on while i change the passenger 1 and as i went to slot it in it hit some metal i think and blew the bulb but it also took out the rear passenger main light the front passenger sidelight obvs lol and the centre radio and heat toggle lights out any ideas peeps if it could just be a fuse or summat PLEASE HEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!

Hi mate its a fuse defo its in the glove box fusebox sidelights are 7.5 amp fuse
i cant find which one as yet but iam looking mate

I CHECKED ALL FUSES IN THE GLOVEBOX THOUGH AND THERE ARE ONLY ABOUT 14 IN THERE AND I CHECKED WITH A VOLTAGE CHECKER AND THEY ARE ALL GOOD :s REALLY CONFUSED MATE

I would imagine that a fuse has blown as has been mentioned. Did you check them for resistance using a multimeter or for voltage? The resistance measurement is the more reliable method.

There are probably more fuses under the bonnet and on the battery +ve terminal (can't be specific as I don't know your model of car). I suggest you check these too. Make sure that there are no metal parts still in the bulb housing.

It is possible that the UCH module has been damaged - but it might also have become confused. If all else fails, try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes and see if that helps.

I still think on balance that one of the glovebox fuses is the culprit.

if the uch is damaged how much will this to get repaired?

Swine of a job but managable with basic diy skills
