Megane III radio console not working

Hi folks,

My radio has stopped working on my 2010 Megane Dynamique coupe (not tom-tom).

It won't turn on, although there is still a display on the dashboard panel. This happened once before, and I replaced the fuse (in the glovebox fusebox), which was the wrong one for the rating, and this fixed it.

This time, no such luck by simply replacing it.

I got the (independent) garage to disconnect the battery in the hope this reset something, but it's not helped. I had it back in today about another issue, and they say they'll need a specialist electrician, who's not cheap.

Anyone had this happen? Anyone got any ideas what is wrong / how to fix it?

And, how easy is it to remove the radio to disconnect it at source? I can't find the hook things online that say they fit a Mk III, only for a Mk II.

I've also had 2 burst front cv joints, of which I've replaced one drive shaft, and now need to do the other (see my other post)....I'm scunnered with this motor!
