World Series By Renault 2008

Hi Folks,

I just got the Renault Newsletter and they appear to be giving away tickets for the 2008 bash at Silverstone on 7 /8 June.

I applied for one ticket and it looks like I was "successful"... then I thought, hey, just coz I am single now doesn't mean I will be in two weeks time so I ordered another in case I find a pretty girl to take.

Anyhoo, is anyone else going?

i`ve had this too although it was about 4/5 weeks ago and i thought i would have had them by now.

I will probably be going I think, and also my girlfriends brother is going

I've never been to any event like this so I'm quite excited now... plus it means finding a route for a nice cruise up to Northamptonshire and back.

haha it is a bit of a stupid idea... would drive them mad I would have thought... It says on the tickets about no animals I thought... might be wrong...

May well see some of you guys there!!! I will be the one in the renault megane... if that doesnt help I will be the one wearing the renault F1 polo shirt... haha sorry Im not funny I know...

I love driving to the world series cus you can see the concentration of renaults increasing as you get closer and then see precessions of V6 Clios and renaultsport cars everywhere!!! its just awesome... almost as good as the actual event!!!

yeah, i remember last year, going up the a50. every car was a renault, and then those v6 clios thundered past

my tickets arrived yesterday
as a few of you have been before,could anyone tell me if the ticket allows you to go anywhere around the cicuit (on the spectator side of the fence) or are you tied to staying in a certain area? also are there any other restrictions etc or any horrendous parking charges etc.???

Yay!! My tickets arrived today.

I have two tickets but no one to go with. I have a week to pull some nice young lady who will put up with my driving and not be bored stiff by looking at cars all day... it would help if she were blonde and tall too. I'm a 5'10" blonde girlie myself so I look daft with a short girlfriend.

I'll be the one in a Renault Megane CC, not wearing a Renault Polo shirt... unless I buy one there and change into it
