National Tyres Preston

Just had disgusting service from the monkeys at National in Preston.
To cut a long story short I hit a rock in the middle of the road which ripped my undertray half off. This is because my car is so low underneath, and becasue I'm over in Preston atm with no tools I was a bit stuck.
So I turn up at national and ask very politely if they could help me out. All I needed was a 10mm socket and a ratchet to pull the tray off. They first said they don't lend tools out which is fair enough, so I proceeded to ask one of the guys there if he could just undo these three bolts for me. He said "no", so I ask "why not?" and he replies "because I don't want too".
I can't understand what goes through some peoples' minds. Someone who treats a potential customer like that, I guess not alot!
