Well, I've got heated seats, but they take ages to warm up and then they burn your ass. Plus it's just on or off. In my Golf IV it took just 30 seconds and they had 5 settings.

So: use an aftermarket set (Waeco).

I have to agree the heated seats aren’t up to much. Although my problem is there not warm enough... Well until they have been on for 10mins and by that time the car is warm enough so there not really needed.

I guess one other thing would have been the pop up DVD GPS screen jobbies. But there as common as gold dust.

My seats get super-heated in less than 30 secs. Both the upper and lower part of the seat are heated. There is only an on/off switch, but there is also a sensor that shuts them off when they start to overheat. Heated sets are standard in Denmark. :)

Cruse control, how would I go about fitting it? A few posts back a member was saying that the wiring loom is already there behind the panel that the dash dimmer is on.

On that note was there a RPG and oil slick option?

Handy for the 50 in a 60 and the tailgate gangs...

the thing that really gets me about the bulb changing is that the car is designed in a country that it is a legal requirement to carry a spare bulb kit and to be able to change a bulb on the side of the road and they make this thing!

Parking sensors are all very well until you one day drive a car without them, wait for the beep and instead hear a crunch. Not that this has ever happened to me of course. Nope, never.

Up till last week i would have agreed on that point then i heard article on radio about child being reversed over in the parents drive, very unfortunate accident but something cheap and simple might have avoided that. Seems from other calls to it happens quite a lot.

On the other hand blind reliance on these aids will one day be the cause of a death. We've got blind spot sensors, parking sensors, sensors that warn when you're nodding off, sensors that keep you in your lane, sensors that brake for you when the car ahead does and cars that park themselves. Add all this to manufacturers (naming no names) who can't make reliable electrics.

All this technology eventually filters down to the Fiestas and Puntos that Max Power Man will end up modifying. How long before one decides to test the theory that his car could drive itself or uses the feed off some vital circuit to power his under car neons.

although it`s not an option as such,an interior boot/tailgate release button would be nice.
and a light in the armrest compartment please.
and if possible,i`d rather have a conventional ignition key setup

Altough not an option it would have been nice if the roof glass panel on the cc opened like a sunroof, and the bike rack that stores in the bumper like the Corsa.

I put a small LEDs in the compartments on the doors and also behind each handle, Which dim with the rest of the lighting.
