Wonder though does that cover my 54plate 1.9dci ??? lots of the stuff i've read says its for 2005> onwards

well it works for the CAN-bus systems.. same as your link.

If it has an update list radio in then its can bus.

It looks alot like the one dad got from Argos branded as RAC it does the job but nothing special, I used my phone/tablet and a bluetooth one of 1/7th the price he paid.
