Recently the front right coil snapped
Had hell of a trouble getting a replacement
Then when I eventually get to change it the strut is bloody impossible to remove
In bolted bottom strut, both anti roll bars and track rod end
But no matter what I tried the thing would not come free, it needed about another 2 inches
In the end I had to undo the cv joint and bottom ball joint
Because of all the fiddling about the middle knuckle on drivers side driveshaft popped and had to get that repaired too
Now am I doing something wrong and is there an easier way to do this ?
It also stomped 2 experienced mechanics as the wishbone just wouldn't go down far enough

Re: Changing front suspension changing problem
To add another question.. I'm looking at fitting a coilover kit front and back
With the problem I had last time is there a better way to do it and any tips?

if the drive shaft pops out and you lose gearbox oil, make sure you top it up once its all back fitted, when i done my passenger side, it popepd out! i think off the top of my head its 75w80 oil, and the fronts on these things are a tw*t to do! undo everything
