Hi all I've decided to fit an aftermarket sterio to my car I've bee on the sticky thread on what I need but a lot of the links no longer work.
I'm after the correct adapter for my aerial and from Renault to ISO I can't seem to find correct one and halfords were useless
The current sterio is a cabasse 6 disc with s green connector to it and a wire for an aerial
Aftermarket fitment please help !

That looks like just a CD player which fits under the radio....no aerial connection on it

Do you think the last owner kept the radio and just left the CD player in....have you looked for a aerial wire behind the CD player or what ever it is you have got...there is not any preprogrammed buttons to select stations on yours

The blue wire which I think you thought was the aerial wire goes to the interior multiplex. Cannot see how I can add a photo to show you

Just noticed the way you get that player removed is the same as the CD player the radio has the normal four small holes to remove it
Re: Aftermarket fitment please help !
After doing some further research , the cabasse 6 disc sterio uses an amp which I'm told is in the boot!, I'll have to look but this is where the wiring for the sterio is hence I can't get a Renault to ISO kit
I'll have a loot later but sounds a nightmare may just look for a direct replacement !

I've got the same stereo. the amp is in the boot. it's a pain to get out as the wiring is tight and not much angle Tom play with. I'm trying to fit an Aux cable in mine. if you greet it out post a pic of the back for me
