Just went to R TEC in st. ablans and they qoted me £125 inc vat for a pair of 25mm spacers, So i do think next on the agenda will alloys but all in good time

Another quick update,

I've had the finishing touches of getting the headlight washers colour coded and fitted, as well as the door mouldings colour coded.

Next: Calipers painted, possibly new set of 17's :-D

I've got the 225 rear bumper and 225 backbox to fit on my 3dr 1.9 dci.
Could you advise on how it's fitted? Thanks.

The bumper is a straight swap over, screws int arches and boot liner.
The exhaust i had to get professional fitted because I don't have space to do it. The back box does fit however the center didn't on my 1.5

I can direct you to the place I got it done in North London if that convenient for you.

Did you have to do anything to the standard shocks since its lowered more than 15cm?

Nothing at all just brought the springs from ebay and got them fitted on. they told me with a ramp and two men, it was a 1hr 30min job.

Not too expensive mate.... Well I picked up a 225 rear bumper complete and 225 backbox for £150 off ebay.
Got a quote for installing it all + body colouring ALL trim and insralling a R26 boot spoiler (ebay, £55) for £180, painted.

Yeah that sounds about right. The bumpers are easy to fit, it painting that cost as most of the work is there.

Just saw the photo of the car with 8000K HIDs....

Dont you realise that with out a 'leveled projector' lens (Ie the correct housing, correct lens, with a constant balance sensor) you are blinding all on comming drivers?

Folk with 'ebay special' HID bulbs in a standard light housing has to be my pet hate. Infact the shear disrespect disgusts me. Not to mention it wont pass an MOT.

Yes I have fitted HIDs but i went to the extent / expense of buying the correct equipment for that very reason.
