Radio code calculator.

Post by Paddy »

After not being able to find my radio code I came across this.

http://car-radio-unlock.blogspot.com/20 ... adios.html

If you follow the instructions it produces the security code from the product code sticker found on all units. This will read 'XXXX- security'.

You enter the 4 digit code and the software will produce the unlock code.

Works 100%. The algorithm is the same as what Renault use to generate the codes.

Does this work for the in dash CD changer? When the display asks for the code is it the one for the changer or headunit?
I think I know the headunit code (confirmed by code generator) but still getting an error after i put the 4 digits in and hold button 6. have tried both?

Hi

That Blog has been removed. I'm about to buy a 6 CD Changer from Ebay but it says they don't have the code.

Does anyone have the instructions for getting hold of a code from the parts number sticker?
